To use cooling water as circularly as possible, we must look at water flows other than drinking water.
To use cooling water as circularly as possible, we have to look at other water flows than drinking water. Surface water, rainwater and wastewater are good alternatives. To make these water flows available for the cooling water process, they must first be filtered. For this we use Activated Filter Media. AFM is produced entirely from recycled glass and is therefore an ecological product. We ensure excellent water quality, while using as little drinking water as possible. This reduces your water footprint.
This technique desalts and filters other (soluble) components, such as organic material and dyes, from the water, almost completely. This prevents, for example, corrosive hardening in the concentrated cooling water, using various methods, such as ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis.
